Terms & Conditions 

  1. Scope: These terms and conditions apply to all services provided by Frontier Removals Ltd, including but not limited to the packing, transportation, and storage of goods.

  2. Quotes: All quotes provided by Frontier Removals Ltd are valid for a period of 30 days from the date of issue. If the removal services are not booked within this period, the quote may be subject to change.

  3. Booking and Payment: A booking for removal services must be made by the customer in writing, either via email or letter. A deposit of 50% of the total cost must be paid at the time of booking, with the remaining balance due 2 days prior to the agreed removal date.

  4. Cancellation: If the customer cancels the contract more than 7 days in advance, no cancellation fee will be charged. If the customer cancels the contract within 7 days of the scheduled move date, a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the total cost of the move will be charged. If the cancellation is made within 48 hours of the scheduled move date, a cancellation fee equal to 100% of the total cost of the move will be charged.

  5. Insurance: Frontier Removals Ltd is fully insured for the transportation of goods. However, it is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that they have adequate insurance coverage for their goods during the packing, transportation, and storage stages.

  6. Liability: Frontier Removals Ltd will take all reasonable care in the handling and transportation of the customer's goods. However, the company will not be held liable for any damage or loss that may occur during the removal process.

  7. Complaints: Any complaints about the removal services provided by Frontier Removals Ltd must be made in writing within 14 days of the completion of the removal.

  8. Late Payment or Failure to Pay: In the event that the customer fails to make the required payment in full by the specified due date, Frontier Removals Ltd reserves the right to charge a late payment fee equal to 10% of the total value of the job per day, accruing daily until payment is received in full. Additionally, Frontier Removals Ltd reserves the right to withhold the delivery of goods until all outstanding payments, including any accrued late payment fees and associated costs, are settled in full. Any costs incurred by Frontier Removals Ltd as a result of late payment or failure to pay, including but not limited to legal fees and collection costs, shall be the responsibility of the customer.

  9. Lift Breakdown or Health and Safety Concerns: In the event that the lift at either the collection or delivery location is not operational or is broken down, or if Frontier Removals Ltd determines that health and safety concerns exist that may jeopardise the safe execution of the removal services, Frontier Removals Ltd reserves the right to refuse to proceed with the work until such issues are resolved. In the case of lift breakdown, Frontier Removals Ltd will work with the customer to find alternative solutions or reschedule the removal services at the earliest mutually convenient time. For health and safety concerns, Frontier Removals Ltd reserves the right to refuse to proceed with the work until the issues are rectified to ensure the safety of its personnel and the customer's property. In both cases, the customer will be notified as soon as possible, and Frontier Removals Ltd shall not be liable for any costs or damages incurred by the customer as a result of such refusal to proceed.

  10. Preparation and Transport of White Goods: It is the responsibility of the customer to prepare all white goods (such as refrigerators, washing machines, and dishwashers) for removal. This includes disconnecting, draining, defrosting, and securing them in their transport modes, as necessary. Frontier Removals Ltd holds no responsibility for the preparation of white goods or any damages that may occur during their transportation. The customer acknowledges that white goods are transported at their own risk, and Frontier Removals Ltd shall not be liable for any damages or losses incurred during the removal process.

  11. Parking Restrictions: The customer acknowledges that adequate parking space must be available outside the property for the duration of the removal services. Frontier Removals Ltd requires a parking space that is at least 2 1/2 car lengths in size to accommodate its vehicles. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that sufficient parking is provided and that any necessary permits or permissions for parking are obtained, where applicable. Frontier Removals Ltd shall not be held liable for any delays or additional costs incurred due to inadequate parking arrangements. The customer agrees to comply with all parking regulations and restrictions in place at the collection and delivery locations. Any parking fines or tickets incurred as a result of improper parking or failure to comply with parking regulations shall be the responsibility of the customer.

  12. Privacy Policy: Frontier Removals Ltd is committed to protecting the privacy and security of its customers' personal information. Any personal information collected from customers will be used solely for the purpose of providing removal services and will not be shared with third parties without the customer's consent. Frontier Removals Ltd employs industry-standard security measures to safeguard the confidentiality and integrity of customer data.   13. Limitation of Liability: Frontier Removals Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising out of or in connection with the provision of removal services, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, or loss of business opportunities. In no event shall Frontier Removals Ltd's total liability exceed the total amount paid by the customer for the removal services.

  14. Force Majeure: Frontier Removals Ltd shall not be liable for any failure or delay in the performance of its obligations under these terms and conditions if such failure or delay is caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, strikes, or governmental actions.

  15. Key Waiting: Key waiting refers to the time period in which the removals team waits for the customer to provide keys to the new property for a maximum of 1.5 hours, which is included in the initial cost. Any time that passes the 1.5-hour mark will be charged at a rate of £20 per person, per hour.

  16. Additional Items: Any additional items that have not been previously stated in the contract will be charged at £15 per item.

  17. Additional Services: Frontier Removals Ltd may offer additional services beyond standard removal services, such as packing, storage, or furniture assembly. The terms and conditions specific to these additional services will be provided to the customer at the time of booking and shall be incorporated into these terms and conditions by reference.

  18. Governing Law: These terms and conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

  19. Updates and Amendments: Frontier Removals Ltd reserves the right to update or amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the company's website or other communication channels used to notify customers.
