Terms & Conditions

  1. Scope of services: Frontier Removals will provide the services of transporting household or commercial items from one location to another as specified in the contract. Frontier Removals will also provide packing services upon request.

  2. Payment: A 50% deposit on accepting the invoice is required, and the final payment must be made 2 days prior to the start of the move. Payment must be made in full prior to the start of the move, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. Frontier Removals reserves the right to charge additional fees for any additional services not specified in the contract.

  3. Liability: Frontier Removals will take reasonable care to ensure that all items are transported safely and securely. However, Frontier Removals will not be held liable for any damage to items that are not properly packed by the customer or for any items that are particularly fragile or valuable, unless Frontier Removals was specifically instructed to take extra care with these items in writing.

  4. Cancellations: If the customer cancels the contract more than 7 days in advance, no cancellation fee will be charged. If the customer cancels the contract within 7 days of the scheduled move date, a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the total cost of the move will be charged. If the cancellation is made within 48 hours of the scheduled move date, a cancellation fee equal to 100% of the total cost of the move will be charged.

  5. Key waiting: Refers to the time period in which the removals team waits for the customer to provide keys to the new property for a maximum of 1.5 hours, which is included in the initial cost. Any time that passes the 1.5 hour mark will be charged at a rate of £20 per person, per hour.

  6. Appliances: Fridges and freezers need to be emptied and defrosted before transport, and any washing machines need to be unplumbed before Frontier Removals can transport them. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that all appliances are prepared for transport, and Frontier Removals will not be held liable for any damage caused by appliances that have not been properly prepared.

  7. Parking Restrictions: It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that there is adequate parking available for the removals team at both the pick-up and drop-off locations. Any parking restrictions or permits required must be arranged by the customer prior to the scheduled move date. If parking restrictions or permits are not arranged and the removals team is unable to park in a safe and legal location, additional charges may apply for waiting time or parking fines incurred. Frontier Removals will not be held liable for any parking fines or delays caused by a lack of adequate parking arrangements.

  8. Additional Items: Any additional items that have not been previously stated in the contract will be charged at £15 per item.

  9. Force majeure: Frontier Removals will not be held liable for any delays or failures to perform its obligations under the contract due to circumstances beyond its control, such as natural disasters, strikes, or government actions.

  10. Governing law: These terms and conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
